GlucoTrackerApp ("we," "our," or "the app") is designed with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using GlucoTrackerApp, you agree to the practices described below.
GlucoTrackerApp is a self-management companion for people living with diabetes. All health data you enter is stored securely, is never sold, and is never shared with advertisers or data brokers.
We collect only the health information you choose to enter, which may include:
We also collect basic account information (such as your email address) needed to operate your account, and standard technical information (device type, operating system, app version) used to keep the app working reliably.
Your data is used solely to power the app's features:
We do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal or health information to anyone.
Your data is stored in a secured cloud database with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to your account — your entries are visible only to you (and anyone you explicitly choose to share a report with, such as your clinician).
No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but we use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of health information.
GlucoTrackerApp may request access to your device camera solely to scan food barcodes and capture meal photos for AI carb analysis. Camera access is optional — you can decline it and still use the app's other features. Photos you take are used only for the food-logging features described above.
If you enable push notifications, we use them only for reminders you configure (such as logging reminders). You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
GlucoTrackerApp uses the following infrastructure providers to operate:
These providers process data only as needed to deliver the app's services and are bound by their own privacy obligations.
GlucoTrackerApp is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
GlucoTrackerApp is a self-management tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always follow your healthcare provider's guidance for insulin dosing and diabetes management, and consult them before making changes to your care plan.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of GlucoTrackerApp after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
